Order Food Online with Onward State

It’s a big day here at Onward State HQ. Not only do we need to help Evan come to terms with his newfound celebrity, but we also have a cool new feature to introduce!

When we first partnered with StateCollege.com, we immediately began making plans for how we could, through our efforts combined, better serve the Penn State community. Hopefully you’ve already seen some of the benefits on the editorial side — we benefit daily from the wisdom of Adam Smeltz (a.k.a. @SCNewsDesk) — but we’re also really excited about some other projects we’ve been working on.

Ordering food online is a hobby of many Penn Staters. There’s nothing better than ordering some wings after a long week’s (school) work… That’s why we’re excited to introduce online food ordering on OnwardState.com! We’ve had it on the mobile site for a few months, but now you can browse your dining options in high-resolution. The future is here! Check it out, order some lunch, and let us know what you think and your ideas for improving the service in the comments.

Penn State and the Process of Life

To paraphrase Mark Twain: The reports of higher education’s death have been an exaggeration. American universities produce more research and relevant knowledge for the world at large than any other institutions I know of. Tuition may be too damn high, but over the long-run, undergraduate degrees are definitely worth the cost. But Penn State could be so much more. It used to be, I think.
